Anisah Abdullah

Program & Services, Youth Engagement Specialist

Anisah Abdullah is one of MISSSEY’s Youth Engagement Specialists and often serves as a first point of contact for young people entering MISSSEY’s programming. A third-generation Oakland native, she has spent more than a decade supporting Bay Area youth and takes deep pride in giving back to the communities that have held her and her family for generations.

Before joining MISSSEY, Anisah supported her community through Full Spectrum Doula care, teaching Hip-Hop and Afro-Brazilian dance to youth, and facilitating Restorative Justice practices. She brings creativity, cultural connection, and a healing-centered approach to her work with young people. Outside of MISSSEY, Anisah continues to dance and teach, and can often be found near the trees with a paintbrush and canvas.
