Andrea Diaz

Executive & Administrative, Programs Director

Andrea Diaz (she/ella) is a Bay Area-raised Mexican immigrant and mother of two. She finds joy in being near water, caring for plants, taking long walks, and enjoying a good cup of coffee. As Program Director at MISSSEY, Andrea stewards and supports the development of the organization’s programs and team, ensuring that its work remains aligned with its values, mission, and vision while maintaining the integrity and quality of its services.

MISSSEY’s mission is deeply personal to Andrea because girls, femme, and gender-expansive youth matter deeply to her. She values MISSSEY’s commitment to centering Black girls and recognizes that meaningful change requires intentionally supporting those most impacted by systemic inequities. Andrea believes that when Black girls are centered and empowered, entire communities benefit.
