Evaline Mbugua is MISSSEY’s Human Resources Generalist, supporting the people and organizational systems that help the team carry out its work. She brings experience across nonprofit and community-centered organizations, where she has worn many hats and developed a deep appreciation for work rooted in people, purpose, and community.
Evaline was drawn to MISSSEY’s belief in the power, possibility, and inherent worth of young people. She believes everyone deserves to be seen as more than the circumstances they have experienced and to be surrounded by people who recognize their potential. Being part of an organization that approaches young people with love, dignity, and an unwavering commitment to their futures is especially meaningful to her.
Outside of work, Evaline enjoys hiking, traveling, discovering new foods, and attempting to learn how to cook them herself.
