Jackie Anderson

Engagement Services Manager, Program & Services

Jackie Anderson is MISSSEY’s Engagement Services Manager, where she oversees the drop-in center and coordinates survivor-centered support for youth. For more than 26 years, she has dedicated her career to reaching Oakland’s most vulnerable young people. Jackie brings a wealth of experience as a wellness manager, workforce and youth development expert, trainer, coach, and lifelong community advocate.

Guided by compassion and love, Jackie provides culturally responsive, trauma-informed care and works tirelessly to remove barriers to critical services that shape young people’s futures. She believes that when youth have access to community, safety, guidance, and resources, healing and wholeness become possible — and with them, the chance to achieve their goals and dreams.
